The game is free

Cairn is a free, single-player voxel sandbox. You're welcome to download it, play it, and enjoy it at no cost. We grant you a personal license to play — the game itself remains ours.

Optional paid extras

Two things cost money, and both are optional:

• Cairn Plus — a one-time $14.99 purchase adding cosmetic block skins. Cosmetic only; it doesn't change how the game plays.
• Cairn Cabins — a subscription adding server-side backups of your worlds. Cancel anytime; you keep access through the period you paid for.

Purchases are personal and non-transferable. Refunds follow the policy of the store you bought through.

Fair use

Please don't resell the game, pass off Cairn as your own, or try to break, disrupt, or reverse-engineer our paid services. For recording and streaming, our generous Creator & Usage Guidelines apply — short answer, you're free to monetize.

No guarantees, and changes

Cairn is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it'll be bug-free or available forever. We may update these terms as the game evolves; we'll post changes here.
